Products

24V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip — Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

24V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

Optimized for compact industrial sections. Ideal for shorter industrial routes and compact wiring sections where ultra-long single-feed runs are not required, providing the same robust industrial construction within standard 24V system limits. Typically supports a run of about 20m before voltage drop becomes significant.

36V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip — Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

36V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

The balance between run length and system complexity. Engineered for medium-length industrial routes, serving as the middle ground when 24V run lengths become a bottleneck but the project doesn't demand a 48V system. Typically supports a run of about 30m with better voltage-drop control than standard strips.

48V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip — Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

48V Tunnel & Mining LED Strip

Hot

Maximum distance. Designed for the longest routes where minimizing power feed points and maintaining absolute brightness consistency is critical. Achieves up to 150m on a single feed at 5 W/m, or 100m at 8 W/m, effectively minimizing perceptible voltage drop.

How Should Buyers Compare 24V, 36V and 48V Mining LED Strip?

Decision Factor24V Series36V Series48V Series
Starting PointExisting 24V systems and routes divided into shorter powered sections.Projects with compatible 36V drivers that need a balance between circuit current and connected-section length.Projects considering 48V tunnel LED strip for longer powered sections or fewer feed locations, subject to model and circuit verification.
Current at the Same Delivered PowerHigher current than a comparable higher-voltage configuration.May reduce current compared with a similar 24V configuration.May further reduce current, but input-current and connector limits still apply.
Feed-Point PlanningOften selected when additional or shorter powered sections are acceptable.May allow different feed-point spacing when supported by the selected model.May support longer connected sections, but it does not eliminate feed-point planning.
Power EquipmentConfirm compatible 24V driver capacity, approvals and ambient-temperature rating.Confirm availability and approval status of the required 36V power equipment.Confirm compatible 48V driver, circuit protection and installation requirements.
Critical VerificationModel, W/m, feed method, cable loss and end-of-run result.Model, W/m, conductor design, connector current and end-of-run result.Model, total load, starting current, connector rating, protection device and end-of-run result.

Questions

Is this LED strip approved for hazardous or explosive mining locations?

This product page does not by itself establish approval for hazardous, gassy or combustible-dust locations. Buyers must provide the applicable area classification, jurisdiction, gas or dust group and required standard so Artcolor can confirm whether a specifically approved model is available. General IP, IK, CE or RoHS documentation is not a substitute for hazardous-location approval.

How is the maximum connected LED strip length determined?

Maximum connected length depends on the exact model, system voltage, power per meter, conductor resistance, feed method, connector rating, operating temperature and permitted end-of-run variation. A distance figure should be supported by defined input conditions and measured voltage, power or light-output results at the end of the run.

Does a 48V LED strip eliminate voltage drop?

No. At the same delivered power, a 48V system may reduce circuit current compared with a lower-voltage configuration, but resistance still exists in conductors, cables, connectors and joints. Final performance must be verified using the complete circuit, feed topology, connected length and acceptable end-of-run result.

What should buyers compare between 24V, 36V and 48V long-run LED strip?

Compare the available power equipment, planned powered-section length, power per meter, circuit current, feed locations, conductor capacity, connector rating, cable loss, protection devices and end-of-run tolerance. The highest voltage is not automatically the best choice; it must match the project's electrical design and required documentation.

Does the IP rating include connectors and field-made joints?

Only when those components and connections are included in the tested assembly. The IP rating of the LED strip body does not automatically apply to cable entries, connectors, field-cut ends or on-site joints. Buyers should confirm the tested configuration and use the specified connection and sealing procedure.

What does an IK rating verify?

An IK rating describes the tested enclosure's resistance to defined external mechanical impacts under the applicable test method. It does not confirm resistance to every falling object, vehicle impact or mining-site event. Buyers should verify the tested model, enclosure construction, report reference and required project impact level.
