Questions
What kind of power supply does the super long constant current LED strip need?
It requires a standard constant voltage power supply (24V, 36V, or 48V depending on the strip model). The constant current ICs on the strip itself handle the current regulation. Do NOT use a constant current driver.
Can the super long constant current LED strip be dimmed?
Yes, they are fully dimmable. They support PWM dimming methods including 0-10V, DALI, and TRIAC via compatible PWM controllers or dimmable power supplies. For optimal performance, a PWM frequency ≤ 2kHz is recommended.
What are the longest LED strip lights available?
With a single-end power input, the 48V constant current strips can reach 50 meters. Powering the strip from both ends (looping the power) can achieve continuous runs of up to 100 meters without visible voltage drop.
