There is no single temperature rating for every sauna LED strip. Buyers should confirm the maximum ambient and surface temperature at the actual installation position, the distance from the heater, mounting method and required operating duration. No. An IP68 rating addresses water ingress under defined test conditions, but it does not by itself confirm resistance to heat, steam, condensation or cleaning exposure. The strip body, cable entry, end seals, connectors, driver location and complete installed system must be evaluated together.

Drivers and controllers should normally be installed outside the high-temperature and high-humidity zone unless the selected equipment is specifically rated for that environment. Final placement should follow the equipment rating, local electrical requirements and the sauna or steam-equipment manufacturer's installation instructions.

Cutting depends on the selected model and its designated cut length. Field cutting and resealing may change the original ingress protection, warranty conditions or document coverage. Factory-finished lengths with specified lead wires and sealed ends are recommended for moisture-sensitive installations.

Do not determine suitability from the room type alone. Radiant heat can raise the surface temperature above the surrounding air temperature. Buyers should confirm the required clearance, measured installation temperature, mounting material and heater manufacturer's instructions before selecting a model.

Provide the sauna or steam environment, installation position, maximum expected temperature, moisture or condensation exposure, distance from heat sources, required length, voltage, light color, control method, cable route, quantity and destination market.
